The effectiveness of a program in Islamic education on developing social skills for students of the third cycle of the basic education stage in Amanat Al-Asimah - Sana’a

Abstract


    


 


     The aim of the research is to Prepare a Program in Islamic Education to develop Social Skills for Students of the third cycle of basic Education and to measure its Effectiveness. To achieve this goal, the following were prepared:



  • A list of appropriate social skills for students of the third cycle of the basic education stage in the schools of Amanat Al-Asimah - Sana’a

  • The Islamic education program in developing social skills for students of the third cycle of the basic education stage.

  • A measure of social skills, and its application to the students of the third cycle of the basic education stage.

  • A note card for the teacher during the training of students on these skills and implementation of student for these skills.

  • The teacher’s guide, which had a significant impact on the success of the program by following the steps required to train students on the social skills included in the program and all the tools prepared by the researcher.

  • These tools were applied to the research group, which consisted of (70) students of the ninth grade of the basic education stage at Al-Hassan Bin Ali School in the Amanat Al-Asimah.

  • The results indicated the existence of the effectiveness of a program in Islamic education on developing social skills for students of the third cycle of the basic education stage.

  • It was observed that the students applied these skills with their classmates during the implementation of the program.

  • The students applied the skills they were trained in through the current program with their teachers, school management and staff during the implementation of the program.
