Abstract
The study aimed to Arabicization the Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale (DERS), verify Psychometric Properties for university students in the Arab environment, and detect the gender and culture differences among the students of the Arab Republic of Egypt and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The study sample consisted of (464) male and female students (183 males and 281 females). The study instrument was applied The Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale (DERS) prepared by Bjureberg et al. (2016). The results of the study indicate that the scale has a high level of Reliability, stability, and homogeneity. The results also indicate differences between males and females in the difficulties of emotional regulation in the dimensions of the Nonacceptance, goals, strategies and clarity in the direction of females and the impulse towards males, and their were no Statistically significant due to culture between the Egyptian and Saudi samples.
