Abstract

This research deals with a jurisprudential issue has an educational dimension, drew the attention of the researcher in the field of orphan care. This issue is (the duration of sponsorship of the orphan). Does the sponsorship of the orphan and the sponsor's recompense stop if the orphan reaches the age of puberty or reaches the age of majority and the ability to independence and manage the affairs of himself?

The researcher concluded that this issue was not explicitly addressed by the advanced jurists. From the total issues related to sponsoring orphans, he deduced that the orphan sponsorship duration extends till the orphan reaches the age of majority, and there is no significant evidence to stop sponsorship when the orphan reaches the age of puberty.
