Abstract
This study aimed at Identifying Current situation of school journalism in Hadramout coastal area secondary schools. (556) subjects were randomly selected,(206) of them were teachers and (350) students. The study used aquestionnaire consisted of (35) item, with four dimensions. Face validity was verified through acomette of experts and alpha Chronbach coefficient of the tool was (0.94). T-test and percentage were used to analyze data and content analysis was used to answer the fourth question. Results showed that current situation of school journalism in Hadramout coastal area secondary schools was negative in general with no significant differences due to sex and specialist, but there were significant differences due to place and profession in favor of urban and teacher respectively. According to content analysis a number of findings were discussed. According to these findings, a number of recommendations were set to improve the current state of school journalism in Hadramout coastal area secondary schools.
