The potentiality of measuring the quality costs at the Yemeni private universities to achieve the competitive advantage

This study aimed at investigating the quality costs measurement (prevention, evaluation, internal failure and external failure) at the Yemeni Privet Universities in Sana’a to achieve the competitive advantage.

The study tried to answer the following question: what is the impact of measuring the quality costs with its dimensions (prevention, assessment, internal failure and external failure) at the Yemeni Privet Universities to achieve the competitive advantage.

The study tested the hypothesis that there is no statistically significant relationship to measure quality costs with its dimensions (prevention, evaluation, internal failure and external failure) and achieve competitive advantage in Yemeni private universities.

The study results showed that the Yemeni privet universities apply the costs of prevention through holding training courses continuously, trying to provide advanced laboratories and constantly updating and reviewing the study plans. Applying the costs of prevention in Yemeni civil universities helps to show its current status, which gives it competitive value in the market by trying to keep up with the labor market. Yemen's private universities use procedures to promote communication and knowledge exchange among faculty members, and universities are seeking to introduce new methods and styles for their education services to students, which in turn requires additional costs, but also provides a high competitive advantage to universities for the local and the Arab level.
