Abstract :

      The study aims to shed light on confronting fraud in Yemeni Law of Crimes and Penalties, since fraud is a growing and multifarious criminal act resulting from the vain desires which engulfed humans in pursuit of money by all means. Fraud is based on mindfulness, versatility, innovation and deception as well as the ability to adapt these with technological developments, modern means of communication and information, and economic, social, cultural and civilizational variables. Therefore, Yemeni law has labelled fraud as a minor crime, punishable by imprisonment for

a maximum of three years or a fine.
