Abstract

The study aims at recognizing the teaching competences of the instructors of the faculty of education at Hebron University as perceived by students. It also tends to identify the differences of these competences due to the different variables (gender and academic level). The researcher applied the descriptive approach using a questionnaire to collect the data. Validity and reliability were ensured via scientific approach (Chronbach's alpha: 0.78). Population of the study consisted of 1410 students from the Faculty of Education. A stratified random sample of 113 students was chosen for the purpose of study. Results showed that teaching competences were of moderate degree (3.38) according to the five-level Likert Scale. Findings also showed that there were no statistically significant differences between estimates of subjects for the availability degree of competences attributed to gender and academic level
