Abstract

This research aimed to extract pedagogical connotations from the national anthem of the Republic of Yemen using the methodology of the Grounded Theory, which is one of the methods followed in qualitative research. It adopted the descriptive analytical method, and used an interview as a tool for collecting field data. It included three main questions concerning the principles, values and pedagogical styles extracted from the national anthem. The study was conducted on a simple random sample of (21) of PhD holders who are interested in the field of educational studies at University of Saba Region. It also included (10) experts who were deliberately selected to arbitrate the extracted educational connotations. It has been found that the national anthem of the Republic of Yemen includes (12) principles, as well as (15) educational values, in addition to (10) educational methods.
