Abstract
Hudhramout Coast is characterized with its Karst cavities and mineral hot fountains.
This study aimed to highlight these geo-morphological characteristics.
It first discussed the geological and rock constructions for the whole region in general and the coast in particular.
Moreover, the study highlighted the geological role and the topography of the region, i.e., Hudhramout southern plateau and its valleys and the Sedimentary coast in constructing these geo-morphological characteristics.
Besides, the study illustrated the positive effect of the dry climate of the region in addition to what the torrential rains carry to the aquifer on constructing the karst characteristics and fountains.
Further, the study introduced the places where these characteristics appear along the coast by presenting a map for these characteristics and where they appear, in addition to their sources of water, forms, and the physical and chemical characteristics for that water, as well as its various usages by people.
