The Character in the Novel of my Father Haouse Bayt Abi

Abstract

The study, which is based on narrative analysis, aims to reveal the character in My Father House "Bayt Abi". The character forms the structure of the narrative text, manages events and moves in time and place, and its form by struggles and contradictions the core of the novel. The study has adopted the formal structural lesson methodology, which blended the form and the content in the levels of analysis. Which considers the paper character a real picture of a certain personality in human reality, and not all matches can be matched, because the narrative character, as Roland Barth sees, is a paper object. Then the researcher analyzed the main character of the novel "Aisha", who occupied a large part of the novel space. She was a source of information, ideas and attitudes that pertain to her, where she revealed her personal characteristics, and her ability to highlight the size of her suffering, and her prowess in arousing the feelings of the recipient and prompted him to sympathize with her. The research dealt with the concept of the novelist character in the critics, and the difference of visions in restricting the concept. Based on its vision and point of view, we follow the rest of the characters and their role in the novel, through the features, and actions in which they appear on the reality of the novel.
