The Structure of The Narrative Text in The Play of Harut and Marut

Abstract

The adaptation The of religious and legendary heritage in contemporary literary texts is not an easy matter, especially when it is intended to create creation and modern artistic and dramatic creativity, without deforming the heritage in its legendary connotations and symbols. From new sciences, ideas and connotations, we find that the ancient heritage has adapted what we see as valid to be a contemporary artistic and creative work, integrated in its elements, symbols and connotations, based on purpose, and achieving the desired highly. He touched a lot in the religious legend of Harut and Marut, the originality of thought and significance in the content, and complementary in the construction, so he chose and volunteered for a literary subject that combines originality and contemporary, and revives the glories of a nation. He gave us much of his religious political and social play from the revelation of the Holy Qur’an, when the angels suffered from the corruption and disobedience of man, and then the angels plagued by what plagued man, to reveal events about the greatness of man in transcending the affliction, with some failure in some people with weak souls and passions Falsehood, while the angels failed in the affliction case.
