Abstract
The aim of the study was to measure the effect of watching Turkish drama series dubbed in Arab channels on the values of the Yemeni university girl and for the purpose of knowing the views and attitudes of the Yemeni university girl towards the contents and objectives of the Turkish soap operas. In changing the Arab and Islamic concepts and values that are common in our Arab societies, and by their presence strongly and intensively on most Arab satellite channels, and the most powerful means of influencing society in general and women in particular. This study is intended to fill the vacuum at the level of local media studies that discuss such extraneous social phenomena on the Yemeni society and focus specifically on its research on gender from a media perspective. The most prominent results of the study: (43.3 %) followed by foreign films and series (41.3%). This confirms the extent to which Yemeni girls are attracted to foreign serials (Turkish) The negative impact of the Turkish drama series was the predominant on the values of the Yemeni university girl in terms of its impact on the variable of piety and religious commitment in the sample of the study (79.2) at the modesty variable and 69.3%.
