Abstract

This is a brief and very easy paper, in the science of the terminology of hadith, by our sheikh, the al-Qadi al-Muammar Husayn ibn Muhammad ibn Mustafa ibn al-Shaykh Abi Bahr al-Hadrami. May Allah have mercy on him, who died in (1425 AH). In which he explained the poetry of the types of sciences of hadith, written by one of his companions, the sheikh of his era, al-Qadi Muhsin ibn Ja'far Abu Nmi al-Hadhrami, may Allah have mercy on him, who died in (1379 AH). The poetry has ten verses, in which 37 types of hadith are mentioned. This indicates that he has command over poetry, strength in poetry and mastery in an easy and close method.
In view of the value of the poetry and scientific explanations, and its extraction from the many sources of hadith, its formation of scattered benefits, his mention of most types of hadith, the definition of each type, the representation of it, and the statement of its ruling, the researcher carried out the investigation, to demonstrate the efforts of Hadramawt scholars in the service of the prophetic Sunnah. He wrote the biography of both poetry composer and its interpreter, and attributed each quote to its source, as possible. He documented the Ahadeeth to its original sources. He completed some of the issues that need to be completed and investigated so that the explanation will be close to beginners and a reminder for those who have finished. He thinks that it serves the Sunnah and does a great job, hoping for a reward from Allaah.
