Abstract
This study aimed at clarifying the desired Arab-Islamic education that combine originality and contemporary using the theoretical and historical approach, which relies on the description, analysis, and comparison by sighting primary and secondary references and related studies. The study sought to find consensus between the originality and contemporary and dyeing it with Islamic vision. The study also showed that the different human doctrines sought to develop an educational and cultural approach that achieve happiness to human, but the differed in realized means to him, as they had not based on a unfilled and comprehensive thought as the case in Islamic education. The study showed multiple avenues to take advantage of Islamic thought and used it in the contemporary educational Arab Muslim culture through a range of educational issues including: the general goals of education, cultural institutions, the relations between these institutions and the society, teachers who have culture and knowledge, the relations between students and professors, education curricula, teaching methods, Comprehensive culture for all, comprehensive cultural journey, and the coupling of theory to practice. The main result of all these issues is a large variety of benefits at the same time.
