Abstract

This study aimed to know the impact of organizational innovation in achieving sustainable competitive advantage in private universities operating in Yemen, and the study used the descriptive and analytical method, and the questionnaire as a tool to collect data from the study sample of (291) individuals, which is a stratified random sample of academic leaders And the administrative staff in universities that have been established (more than 10 years), and whose faculty members are not less than (45) members, and after examining and checking the data, they were processed using many statistical methods. To achieve the objectives of the study and test its hypotheses. The study reached a set of conclusions, the most prominent of which was the existence of a great interest in the universities under study in both the practice of organizational innovation, as well as achieving sustainable competitive advantage. There is a disparity in the impact of the dimensions of organizational creativity in achieving sustainable competitive advantage in universities. The subject of study was the most influential after administrative innovation, and the least impact after technical innovation. The study recommended the need to pay attention to promoting the practice of administrative innovation and technical innovation, as well as enhancing the practice of competitive flexibility and resource flexibility in the universities under study. Because of this effect on achieving sustainable competitive advantage, and the need to pay attention to supporting innovators in the universities under study, and to develop the level of services they provide to their clients.
