Abstract

This study deals with the issue of Allah's self-praising and its doctrinal significance. Such issue is connected with the belief foundation that stands on praising Allah the Almighty which aims at confirming Allah's Perfectness. The greatest praise is Allah's self-praising. It has two forms: thanks praising and glory praising. While the former deals with Allah's self-praising as a Complete Lord and God having the best Names and Qualities, the latter deals with glorifying Him as the Only One who deserves all thanks and praise and negating any Quality or Name He doesn't deserve. All the forms of Allah's praising has its significance and belief effect which in turns reveals the status of Allah's praising in Islamic Doctrine as the best act of worship Allah has guided His creatures to perform.
