Abstract

This study aims at investigating the criminal sentences of human trafficking in the Yemeni draft law of Combating Human Trafficking and Arab Legislation for Combating Human Trafficking since the human trafficking crimes are amongst the most dangerous criminal phenomena to the human communities. This crime is committed by organized criminal gangs that have become expert criminals and adopted such in their criminal activities in order to make huge profits using multiple ways . Human trafficking crimes have special nature which is concerned with human beings who suffer from destitution, need, poverty and unemployment. This study addresses the aspects of human trafficking crimes and the people eligible for punishment explaining the materialistic and moral aspects. The study also includes the penalty for human trafficking crimes and illustrates the serious human trafficking in their normal state and the defined penalty in case of the presence of aggravating circumstances of crime, and lastly stating the attenuation and the states exempted from penalty of this crime. The study concludes with a number of outcomes and provides certain recommendations to use when reviewing and discussing the Yemeni draft law of combating human trafficking.
