The Arab arena witnessed great prosperity in the field of education due to the growing demand for education and the expansion of the establishment of public and private universities and colleges. Moreover, cultural and scientific exchanges between peoples have flourished through various means of technology. This significant expansion of educational institutions has created new challenges in the mechanisms and means of ensuring the quality of the educational and administrative process accompanying it. The course file is one of the most important tools used in ensuring the quality of the teaching and learning process. It works on a more comprehensive evaluation of the content of the material provided to the student. It can link the assessment of the educational process with the evaluation of the level of learning and improve academic work through various means.
This research aims to shed light on the role of the course file and its impact on ensuring the quality of education and expected learning outcomes of the course, which in turn ensures the achievement of the learning outcomes of the academic program, to achieve the objectives and mission of the academic institution in general. The research also focuses on the mechanisms of applying different best practices in the creation of the file, follow-up, evaluation and improvement in its various stages, preservation and utilization of it in subsequent chapters in paper or electronic form.
