Effect of (Cyprus rotundus)‎ aqueous extracts on germination and growth of plant Vigna sinensis سالم محمد بن سلمان ، صلاح عبدالله بن فريجان ، محروس عبدالله باحويرث

Abstract

The laboratory experiment was done to see the effect of extracts of weeds Cyprus rotundsin four levels of concentrations (0,10, 20 and 30 %) on the germination and growth of seeds of (cowpea), after two weeks measurements were taken on traits (germination ratio, speed of germination, the length and the length of rootlet and hypocotyl) the study results were the extract of Cyprus rotundus weed inhibits morally all of the studying properties.

And the inhibition increased with severity increasing of the extract concentration.
