سؤال الحداثة The Question of Modernity أ.د. علي بن العجمي العشي) أ. مراد عروج ملخص الأهداف: الهدف الرئيس للبحث هو استجلاء أسباب غياب تعريف جامع مانع يتّسم بالدّقّة والصّرامة ويحظى بالقبول في الحقل الأكاديميّ. المنهجية: اعتمد البحث المنهج التاريخي من خلال تعرّضه للسّياق التّاريخيّ لظهور المصطلح، كما اعتمد المنهج الاستقرائيّ حيث يقع التّعرّض إلى المحاولات المختلفة لضبط المفهوم والبحث عن كلّ ما هو مشترك بينها وعن عناصر الاختلاف، أي عن المتّفق عليه والمختلف فيه بغاية الوصول إلى ما يمكن اعتباره مستقرّا عليه حول هذا المفهوم. والمنهج المقارن، إذ تساعد مقارنة تجارب الشّعوب والأمم على فهم أوسع للمسألة، والاقتراب من ضبط مفهوم أكثر صرامة. النتائج: ولعل أهم النتائج التي انتهى إليها البحث هو أنّ البحث في مفهوم الحداثة لا زالت أبوابه مشرعة، ويستمدّ مشروعيّته المعرفيّة من تطوّر مناهج البحث ومن اختلاف القراءات باختلاف مجالات التّخصّص. كما يستمدّ مشروعيّته الثّقافيّة من الاختلاف بين الشّعوب وخصوصيّة تجربة كلّ منها. وهنا تكمن أصالة البحث، فالمستهدف ليس ضبط مفهوم نهائيّ يتمّ الاستقرار عليه، بل ما يجب الاستقرار عليه هو إبقاء المفهوم منفتحا على إمكانات عديدة ومتعدّدة، بعيدا عن مقولة نهاية التّاريخ. الخلاصة: أن هذه الدراسة تبحث في مفهوم الحداثة، وتتعقّب المحاولات الّتي جرت في هذا المضمار وذلك باعتباره مفهوما إشكاليّا اختُلف حول ضبطه حدّ التّناقض. الكلمات المفتاحية: الحداثة، الحضارة الغربية، الفكر الإسلامي، نقد، التحديث. ABSTRACT Objectives: The main objective is to clarify the reasons for the absence of an airtight and rigorous definition acceptable in the academic field. Methods: This paper investigates the historical context of the emergence of the term and analytically compares the various attempts to control the concept. Furthermore, it compares the experiences of peoples and nations in this regard, to reach a broader understanding and more rigorous control of the concept. Results: the main results of this paper is that the concept of modernity is still in need of scrutiny. This is justified on the epistemological level by the development of novel research methods and by the discrepancies in approaching the issue from different areas of specialization. On the cultural level, it is justified by the differences between peoples and the specificities of their experience. It is here that the originality of this paper is located, its aim is not to control the concept, but to highlight that it is to remain open to multiple possibilities, away from the argument of the end of history. Conclusions: this study examines the concept of modernity and tracks the relevant attempts in this field, giving the fact that it is an ambiguous concept that generated many debate to the point of contradiction.
