The level of practice of the academic leadership of the Department
of walking at the Faculty of Education at the University of Sana'a
"from the perspective of academic leaders and the teaching Staff.
Abstract:
The aim of the study was to study
the practice of the academic
leadership of the Department of
wandering in the Faculty of
Education at Sana'a University from
the point of view of the academic
leaders and the teaching Staff, as
well as the knowledge of the
requirements and obstacles of
applying the management by
walking around. To achieve the
goals, the descriptive method was
used, and a questionnaire consisting
of (38) (The reality of the practice,
the requirements, the obstacles).
After verifying the validity of the
tool and its stability, it was
distributed to the sample of the study
consisting of (85) individuals, which
was chosen by simple random way
of academic leaders and teaching
Staff at the Faculty of Education at
Sana'a University The 2017/2018,
The data were analyzed using the
Statistical Package Program (SPSS).
The results of the study revealed that
the reality of the practice of the
academic leadership of the
Department of wandering at all
levels of the first axis was medium.
The requirements and obstacles of
applying the management by
walking around at the level of the
axes as a whole were high. There are
statistically significant differences
due to the gender variable at the
level of the domains of the first axis
except for the field of "finding
facts". There are differences in favor
of males. There are no statistically
significant differences at the level of
the requirements axis and the tool as
a whole. Constraints and interests of
females. The results also showed that
there are no statistically significant
differences due to the degree
variable at the level of the axles and
the tool as a whole, while there are
statistically significant differences
attributed to the variable of the job
title at the axial level and the tool as
a whole and for the academic leader
category. The results also showed
that there were no statistically
significant differences due to the
variable years of experience at the
level of the first axis in all its fields,
while there are statistically
significant differences for the
requirements, constraints and tools
for the category (1-5) years.
